Leadership Team:
Derek Li, CEO: Derek is responsible for overseeing the overall direction and strategy of Farming Labs. He is passionate about sustainable farming practices and has a strong vision for the future of agriculture. In addition to his leadership role, Derek brings years of experience in the design industry, having worked with large-scale design firms and management teams in collaboration with government and publicly traded real estate companies. With access to local resources and experience in PPP projects, Derek has a deep understanding of the PPP cooperation models between local governments and state-owned enterprises. Derek's expertise includes urban design, residential area planning, architectural planning, and building design. Throughout his career, Derek has successfully completed over 12 million square meters of residential projects, including villas, retirement communities, and green three-star residential properties. Additionally, he has completed over 2 million square meters of public building projects, including five-star hotels, 5A grade office buildings, and shopping malls.
Waqar Munawar, COO: brings years of experience in operations and financial management to Farming Labs. With a background in the AgTech, Fintech, and services industry, Munawar is a seasoned professional in IT audit, technical analysis, funds management, and procurement. He is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company and ensuring that all departments are aligned with the company's overall strategy.
Marketing and Sales Team:
Kai Wen, Director Sales and Marketing: Kai Wen has over 10 years of experience in marketing and branding. He is responsible for developing and executing Farming Labs' marketing strategy, including advertising, PR, content marketing, building relationships with customers and driving revenue growth.
Support Team:
Chris Booth, Customer Support: Chris is responsible for ensuring that customers have a positive experience with Farming Labs. He manages the customer support team and works closely with other teams to resolve any issues that arise.
Melissa Lee, Business Development associate: She has experience in market research, strategy development, and project management. Melissa works closely with the CEO and COO to identify new business opportunities and develop partnerships with key industry players. She is passionate about sustainability and believes that technology can play a significant role in advancing the agriculture industry towards a more sustainable future.
